It was a heartbreaking sight—a poor baby monkey, injured and trembling, lying near a dusty roadside after being attacked by a stray black dog. The little one was barely moving, his tiny body covered in dirt, and his fur stained with small traces of blood. Locals who witnessed the terrifying moment said the baby had been alone, likely separated from his mother, when the dog spotted him and gave chase.
The attack was sudden and brutal. The baby monkey tried to climb a tree, but he was too small, too weak. The dog managed to bite and scratch him before people nearby chased it away. Shaking and crying, the injured monkey was left alone—no mother, no troop, just fear and pain.
Thankfully, a kindhearted rescuer arrived just in time. With gentle hands, they wrapped the baby in a soft towel and lifted him carefully. He winced but didn’t resist. It was as if he knew he was finally safe. He was brought home immediately, where first aid was given—his wounds were cleaned, disinfected, and he was kept warm.
Once the baby settled in, he was offered warm milk through a small bottle. Though frightened at first, hunger overcame fear, and he began to drink. Wrapped in a blanket and resting in a quiet, cozy corner, he slowly started to calm down. His eyes still held pain, but also the faint light of trust.
The road to recovery will be long, but the worst is over. With love, care, and proper treatment, this poor little survivor now has a second chance. He may have lost his family, but he’s found a new one—one that will protect him, heal him, and help him grow strong again.
His rescue is a reminder: even the smallest lives deserve to be saved.
